S1 Tyvok Base Plate Clamps

We recently bought the S1 Tyvok Laser, and so far, we are really pleased with it! However, we found the wood was moving a lot during the cutting process.

Instead of getting frustrated, we designed and made clamps to prevent the wood from moving excessively.

You can find a link at the bottom of this page, where you will be able to download the STL file for free. They work really well!

We would propose that you screw down the aluminium plate to your base, to make it more secure. We used 2 x M8 bolts. After printing the clamps, and just ran an M8 tap through.
